Tigers Use Late-Game Magic to Beat Patriots
The Tioga Central Tigers topped the George Washington Patriots, 3-2, in Pete Rose League action at Alleycats Ballpark. The player of the game was Tioga Central pitcher Sam Foresee. The Tigers have an impressive 16-10 record.

Earl Birch was the walk-off hero for Tioga Central. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth inning, the Tigers pinch hitter hit a dramatic run-scoring single to send the teams home.

Birch called the win "a collective effort."
