Hemingway Dazzles in Derby Win
It was a fun time at Managua HS Grounds, where the Lerna Lions and Derby Panthers tangled.

Derby left-hander Sam Hemingway was sensational in shutting out the Lerna Lions, 1-0. Nate Taylor recorded the save for Derby, his 6th of the season.

In his 129-pitch effort, Hemingway allowed no earned runs on 4 hits over 7 innings. He walked 2 and struck out 11.

"We're scuffling right now," said losing manager Nick Riddick.

The winning streak has now reached 4 games for Derby.
