The Topeka West Chargers bested the Tenafly Tigers by a score of 7-5, with right fielder Eddie Lannigan getting the main credit. On the day, Lannigan went 3 for 5 with 2 home runs, while adding 3 RBI and scoring twice for the Chargers. Topeka West is now riding a 7-game win streak.

Lannigan had a game-changing home run in the bottom of the ninth. On a 1-2 fastball from Justin Swiss, he banged a 2-run home run to right, giving the Chargers a 7-5 lead. It was the 13th home run of the year for Lannigan.
