Rick Peck was sizzling at the plate today. In a game played at Chickenhawks Stadium, the Topeka West center fielder blistered the Jacksonville State Jaguars for 5 hits in 6 at-bats to pace his club to a 25-16 victory.

"Peck was too tough to get out today," Jaguars skipper Jeromy Hager said in his postgame interview. "No matter what we threw him, he hit it. And he hit some good pitches, too."

Rick Peck grounded out in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, hit a three-run home run off Paul Robinson in the 4th, hit an RBI single in the 5th, hit an RBI single in the 6th, walked in the 8th and hit an RBI single in the 9th.
