Portland Beavers starter Félix Reina was in a groove as he led his team to a win over the Georgia Grays, 5-1. Portland now sits at 39-40, while Georgia falls to 26-52.

Had Cesar Sandino not delivered a key base hit in the bottom of the eighth, the outcome might have been different. Instead, with two down and runners on 1st and 2nd, Sandino hit a run-scoring single. That made the score 2-1, in favor of the Beavers.

Reina called the win the result of "everyone being in sync."
