Seminole left fielder Grayson Winman was sensational. He went 3-3 with a home run, a double, and a walk. He scored 2 runs and drove in 2, but it wasn't enough to rally his team to a win. Santa Clara beat the Warhawks, 4-3. Winman was named the player of the game despite the loss. The Warhawks, at 6-12, have lost 5 straight games.

The Vampires got a big at-bat from third baseman Brian Vinson. For the game, Vinson was 1 for 4 with a home run, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once. In the bottom of the first, with a runner on 3rd, he stroked a 2-run home run. His 5th home run of the season gave Santa Clara a 2-1 lead.
