The San Francisco Earthquakes defeated the Columbus Aces, 24-2, at Central Park Downtown Stadium today. Leading the charge for San Francisco was first baseman Juan López. He was 4 for 5 with a double, 3 singles, and 2 walks. He scored 5 runs and drove in 6. The Aces, now 26-49, have lost 13 in a row.

López had a big at-bat with the bases loaded in the top of the second inning, when he hit a bases-clearing double. The Earthquakes went on to win.
