Garrett Hurls Hawaii to Shutout Win
The Hawaii Islanders rolled to an easy 7-0 win over the South Carolina Bombers at Aloha Stadium today. Leading the way to victory was starter Alexis Garrett, who shackled the South Carolina Bombers and held them scoreless on a 5-hitter.

"This is what every pitcher wants to do when they go out there," Garrett said in his postgame press conference.

Running the numbers on Garrett for the year, he has made no relief appearances, recorded no saves and compiled a 4-3 won-lost mark with a 4.63 ERA. In pitching 44.2 innings, he has totaled 33 strikeouts and 12 walks.
