Mohr belts 2 home runs, Blues Move to 6-4
The Central Tech Blues dealt the Grand Island Islanders a 17-9 loss at Oranges Ballpark. Tim Mohr was the star on offense. He went 2-2 with 2 home runs and 4 walks, while adding 5 RBI and scoring twice. Central Tech reliever John Rudge picked up the win, upping his record to 2-0. Tim Lane absorbed the loss. Losses have been few and far between for the Islanders, who are now 8-2.

The Blues got a big at-bat from left fielder Aaron Kates. For the game, Kates was 2 for 4 with 2 doubles and a walk, while scoring 2 times and driving in 4. In the bottom of the eighth, with the bases loaded, he stroked a 2-run double. His 2nd double of the season gave Central Tech a 11-9 lead.
