A 3-RBI performance from Manny Marin, who is the 4th-best prospect in the Warhawks organization, helped the Seminole Warhawks beat the Central Tech Blues, 18-7. Vinny Corte picked up the win, improving his season record to 1-0. He struck out 3 in 8.1 innings. Losses have been few and far between for the Blues so far this season. Their record drops to 4-2.

The result might have been different for Seminole, had it not been for Bobby Ferrer. The right fielder produced a 2-run single in the top of the second inning to put the Warhawks ahead, 4-2. For the game, Ferrer had 1 double and 2 singles in 5 at-bats.

"Winning is the only thing that really matters," Ferrer told the Seminole Today. "If you can win without even breaking a sweat, more power to you."
