A 6-RBI performance from Jason Klann, who is the 7th-best prospect in the Golden Bears organization, helped the Billings West Golden Bears beat the Lerna Lions, 13-5. The win lifts Billings West to a record of 3-3.

When the Golden Bears needed a boost, it was the light-hitting Klann who delivered. Facing Lerna pitcher Stan Stapleton the top of the third with the bases loaded, Klann hit his 1st home run of the year. It made the score 8-1.

"We swung the bats good throughout the lineup," said Billings West skipper Brian Neyman.
