Legends Get One-Run Win at Trois-Rivieres
The Saskatoon Legends beat the Trois-Rivieres Saints, 5-4, at Blue Wings Ballpark. Saskatoon left fielder Carl Poulin earned player of the game honors with an outstanding performance. He was 3 for 5 with a home run and 2 singles, while scoring 2 runs and driving in 2. Jim Reusch converted his 5th save in 6 tries. Saskatoon has now won 5 in a row.

The Legends got a big at-bat from shortstop Eddie Steele. For the game, Steele was 2-4 with 2 singles and a walk. He drove in 2 runs. In the top of the third, with the bases loaded, he stroked a 2-run single. His 80th hit of the season gave Saskatoon a 3-2 lead.
