Royales Use Late-Game Magic to Beat Heat
Montreal turned a good effort from starter Sonny Crousse into a win over the Kelowna Heat at Brantford College Grounds. The final score was 2-1. The Royales bumped their record to 28-27 with this latest triumph.

Had Christopher Harrington not delivered a key base hit in the top of the eighth, the outcome might have been different. Instead, with two down and the bases loaded, Harrington hit a 2-run single. That made the score 2-0, in favor of the Royales.

"We made a couple of mistakes," said Kelowna skipper Bob Cunningham, "and it cost us."
