Mayhem Excels, So Cal Blows Out Seattle
|
It was a good time at House of the Republic, where fans came to watch the Seattle Sasquatch and So Cal Republic get after it.
The So Cal Republic dealt the Seattle Sasquatch a 13-3 loss at House of the Republic. Zeus Mayhem was the star on offense. He went 2-4 with a home run and a walk, while scoring 3 times and driving in 3. Elias Bowen picked up the win, improving his season record to 1-0. He struck out 8 in 7 innings.
Drake Ramsey, who won the Rookie of the Year Award in 2032, chipped in for So Cal with a grand slam home run in the bottom of the second. For the game, the catcher had 2 hits in 4 at-bats with 1 home run, 1 single, 2 runs scored, and 4 RBI.
"Being able to play a game for a living is one thing. Being able to play it well and contribute to a win is even better," Ramsey told the So Cal Times.
So Cal, now 5-3, has gotten their season off to a good start.
