The first-place London Monarchs welcomed Trois-Rivieres to Hatchets Ballpark.

London Monarchs starter Mike Navarro kept the Trois-Rivieres Saints hitters in check, leading his team to a comfortable 7-0 win. London leads the Lester B. Person League East Division by 2½ games.

The Monarchs got a big at-bat from left fielder Eric St.john. For the game, St.john was 1-4 with a home run and a walk, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once. In the bottom of the first, with a runner on 1st, he stroked a 2-run home run. His 12th home run of the season gave London a 2-0 lead.

"I still think this team has room for improvement," St.john told the London Gazette.
