Bryant Goes Off, But Heat Win
|
The Kelowna Heat overcame a good performance by London right fielder Eli Bryant to knock off London, 13-12, at Hatchets Ballpark. Bryant went 3-6 with 2 home runs and a double. He drove in 7 runs and scored twice. Kelowna is now riding a 3-game win streak.
Stan Dodds chipped in for Kelowna with a run-scoring single in the top of the third. For the game, the left fielder had 3 hits in 5 at-bats with 1 home run, 2 singles, 2 runs scored, and 5 RBI.
In postgame comments to the Kelowna Citizen, Dodds said, "If the effort is there, the wins will come."
