Legends Sneak Past Capitals, 7-6
|
Louie Lockyer left his imprint on the 7-6 Saskatoon win against the Victoria Capitals. Lockyer, who leads the LBL in stolen bases with 13, was 4 for 5 with a triple and 3 singles. The Legends bumped their record to 29-23 with this latest triumph.
Pat Goguen was the walk-off hero for Saskatoon. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth inning, the Legends pinch hitter hit a dramatic run-scoring single to send the teams home.
"I just try to see the ball and put a good swing on it," said Goguen.
