Cody Schultz batted in 4 runs to lead Kelowna to a win over Saskatoon. The final score was 10-6. Schultz chipped in with 1 single and 1 home run. Kelowna reliever Don Paull picked up the win, bumping his record to 1-1. Jason Keeping was collared with the loss. The Heat bumped their record to 27-23 with this latest triumph.
Jason Leahy, who is the 3rd-best prospect in the Heat organization, aided the Kelowna cause with a run-scoring walk in the bottom of the third. For the game, the first baseman went 1 for 3 with 2 walks.
"We'll savor this win," Leahy told the Kelowna Citizen, "then get ready for the next game."
