The Kelowna Heat grabbed a 8-3 win over the Niagara Stars at Brantford College Grounds. Kelowna catcher Eric Lupkoski went 3-3 with a double, 2 singles, and a walk to earn player of the game honors. The save was Ernie Klein's, his 2nd. The Heat bumped their record to 26-22 with this latest triumph.

Nathan Brisson aided the Kelowna cause with a run-scoring walk in the bottom of the first. For the game, the center fielder drew 1 walk in 4 trips to the plate.

"We'll relax tonight and get back after it tomorrow," Lupkoski said after the game.
