Montreal played host to London at the friendly confines of Eliminators Ballpark.

Montreal right-hander Mike Norton pitched his team to victory over the London Monarchs at Eliminators Ballpark. The final score was 6-0. The Royales bumped their record to 24-24 with this latest triumph.

The Royales got a big at-bat from third baseman Tom Kirby. For the game, Kirby was 1-3 with a home run and a walk, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once. In the bottom of the second, with runners on 1st and 2nd, he stroked a 3-run home run. His 7th home run of the season gave Montreal a 3-0 lead.

"We took advantage of our opportunities," Norton told the Montreal Daily News. "It's as simple as that."
