Victory Pushes Heat Record to 24-21
|
Kelowna pitcher Kevin Palmer did his part in helping his team beat the Saskatoon Legends, 6-3. The right-hander kept opposing batters in check throughout the game. The save was Tom Simpson's, his 10th. The Heat raised their record to 24-21.
Loïc Faure, who is tied for 9th in the LBL in triples with 1, aided the Kelowna cause with a 2-run double in the top of the sixth. For the game, the center fielder went 1 for 5 with a double. He drove in 2 runs and scored once.
"I really like what we did out there today," Faure said after the game.
