Tim Kean added some punch to the Niagara offense, helping them outmuscle the Trois-Rivieres Saints, 15-7. In the game, Kean, who is rated as the 29th best prospect by BNN, belted 2 home runs. He scored 4 runs and drove in 4. Niagara reliever Chet Winman was credited with the win, to go to 2-1. Roy Gamble took the loss for Trois-Rivieres. Niagara, at 17-25, occupies third place in the Lester B. Person League East Division.

Darren Marsh, who is tied for 8th in the LBL in triples with 1, aided the Niagara cause with a grand slam home run in the top of the seventh. For the game, the pinch hitter was 1 for 1 with a home run. He drove in 4 runs and scored once.
