Saints Win at Victoria, 7-5

The rain came, as predicted, but the Trois-Rivieres Saints and Victoria Capitals were able to complete their ballgame.
The Trois-Rivieres Saints topped the Victoria Capitals, 7-5, in CANADIAN BASEBALL LEAGUE action at Ballpark of Chilliwack College. The player of the game was Trois-Rivieres pitcher Steven Pinnell. Tim Turley finished the game for Trois-Rivieres and earned his 2nd save.
Ben Chambers hit a 2-run double off Bernard Favier in the top of the second, which put the Saints in front, 2-0. In addition to the double, Chambers had 1 single, while going 2 for 4.
"Baseball is about momentum," said Pinnell, "and we feel we've got it in our favor after that win."
The third-place Saints have won 4 straight.
