It was a good time at Drummondville College Grounds, where fans came to watch the Calgary Outlaws and Niagara Stars get after it.
Niagara Stars starter Ben Charron was definitely locked-in. He led his team to a win over the Calgary Outlaws, 6-3. With the win, Niagara goes to 16-24, while the Outlaws fall to 23-17.
Frank Wickett, who is tied for 6th in the LBL in RBI with 38, aided the Niagara cause with a run-scoring single in the bottom of the fifth. For the game, the right fielder was 2-3 with 2 singles and a walk.
"There's never a lack of effort in our clubhouse. We're willing to do the little things to get the win," Charron told the Niagara Daily.
