Eddie Steele was instrumental in his team's 20-5 triumph over the Niagara Stars. The shortstop went 4-6 with a triple, a double, and 2 singles, while scoring 2 runs and driving in 6 for the Saskatoon Legends. The Legends improve their record to 21-17 with the win over Niagara.

Steele had a key at-bat for Saskatoon early in the game. With runners on 2nd and 3rd, he hit a 2-run triple. It was his 2nd triple of the season and gave Saskatoon an early 2-0 lead.

"We'll grab a cold one tonight and go after another win tomorrow," Steele said.
