The Kelowna Heat powered past the Victoria Capitals, 10-9, at Brantford College Grounds. Kevin Parry was 2 for 3 with a home run and 3 walks. He scored 4 runs and drove in 2, to lead the charge. Picking up the save was Tom Simpson, his 8th. The Heat bumped their record to 19-16 with this latest triumph.

Eric Lupkoski drew 3 walks in 5 plate appearances, while adding 2 RBI for Kelowna. The 21-year old catcher had a key at-bat in the bottom of the seventh. With two out and the bases loaded, he broke a 9-9 tie with a run-scoring walk off Jack Hepburn. It was his 25th walk of the season.
