MacLeod Helps Outlaws Run Win Streak to 3
|
The Calgary Outlaws knocked off the London Monarchs, 8-4, at Hatchets Ballpark. John MacLeod, who captured player of the game honors, was a big reason Calgary won. The shortstop was 3-4 with a home run, a double, and a walk, while scoring 2 times and driving in 3. The Outlaws bumped their record to 20-15 with this latest triumph.
MacLeod had a big at-bat with the bases loaded in the top of the seventh inning, when he hit a 2-run double. The Outlaws went on to win.
"We maximized our offense today," said Calgary skipper Kiminobu Kamida. "That makes everyone's life easier."
