Parry Goes Wild, But Saints Win
The Kelowna Heat got a superb performance from right fielder Kevin Parry. Still, it wasn't enough to beat Trois-Rivieres. The Saints won the game, 9-7. In spite of the loss, Parry was named the player of the game. He went 2 for 2 with a home run and 2 walks, while scoring 2 times and driving in 3. Tim Turley saved it for Trois-Rivieres. Trois-Rivieres is now 12-22.

A defensive lapse proved costly in the contest. In the top of the sixth, with the game tied, Michael Noseworthy was at the plate when Trois-Rivieres scored 1 on an error. The miscue enabled the Saints to go in front, 6-5.

"We'll grab a cold one tonight and go after another win tomorrow," Noseworthy said.
