The Saskatoon Legends grabbed a 18-4 win over the Trois-Rivieres Saints at Blue Wings Ballpark. Saskatoon left fielder Carl Poulin was 4-4 with a home run, 3 singles, a walk, and was hit by a pitch. He scored 2 times and drove in 3 to earn player of the game honors. Walton Varner was the winning pitcher. Over 5.1 innings, he allowed 2 runs on 5 hits, with no walks and 3 strikeouts. Poulin had a big at-bat with the bases loaded in the top of the fourth inning, when he hit a run-scoring single. The Legends went on to win.
