Montreal turned a good effort from starter Mike Norton into a win over the London Monarchs at Eliminators Ballpark. The final score was 7-2. Dave Mrazek earned save number 3. The first-place Royales have a one-game lead in their division.

Jeremy Corcoran aided the Montreal cause with a grand slam home run in the bottom of the fourth. For the game, the catcher was 1-3 with a home run, while adding 4 RBI and scoring once.

"Our guys are never satisfied," said Montreal manager Kevin Haynes.
