Legends Roll to 8-3 Win Over Royales
|
The Saskatoon Legends bested the Montreal Royales by a score of 8-3, with catcher Walt Gaudet getting the main credit. On the day, Gaudet was 1-2 with a home run and 2 walks. He scored 2 times and drove in 3 for the Legends. The Legends bumped their record to 19-13 with this latest triumph.
Burt Kavanagh, who is tied for 5th in the LBL in RBI with 29, aided the Saskatoon cause with a bases-clearing double in the bottom of the third. For the game, the designated hitter was 1-4 with a double, while adding 3 RBI.
"Win or lose, we pick each other up in this clubhouse," Gaudet told the Saskatoon Herald.
