Monarchs Bang Out 19-5 Win Versus Trois-Rivieres
It was a good time at Hatchets Ballpark, where fans came to watch the Trois-Rivieres Saints and London Monarchs get after it.

The London Monarchs topped the Trois-Rivieres Saints, 19-5, with center fielder Jim Jameson playing a big role. Jameson went 2-4 with a home run and was hit by a pitch, while scoring 3 times and driving in 3 for the Monarchs in the win. The winner was London reliever Vance Blaine, now 1-0. The loser was Otis Pinksen.

Bruce Fleet, who is tied for 4th in the LBL in stolen bases with 6, aided the London cause with a run-scoring walk in the bottom of the fifth. For the game, the shortstop drew 3 walks, while scoring 2 runs.

"We'll pop the top on a cold one and get back to work tomorrow," Jameson said.

London now has a 3-game win streak.
