Multi-HR Game for Sheppard in 13-7 Win
Bill Sheppard helped his team muscle past the Victoria Capitals, 13-7. In the game, the Niagara left fielder belted 2 home runs, while adding 6 RBI and scoring twice. The save was Carl Phillips's, his 1st. The Stars, now at 10-18, know that wins in June count the same as wins in September.

The game turned with one out in the bottom of the fourth when Sheppard, who is tied for 9th in the LBL in runs scored with 22, hit a grand slam home run. It propelled the Stars into the lead, 9-5.

"We came out aggressive," said Stars manager Juan Alea. "We came out swinging the bats."
