Beavers Stun Stogies, 2-1

The Portland Beavers got a magnificent performance from pitcher Felipe De La Hoya, who muffled the Havana offense en route to a tight 2-1 Beavers win at The Humidor. The 4th-place Beavers are now 37-39, the Stogies 54-23.
A crucial at-bat came with runners on 1st and 3rd and one out in the top of the fifth inning. That's when right fielder Vihaan Vedant, who is tied for 7th in the RCL in stolen bases with 27, drew a walk. The Beavers went on to win.
De La Hoya attributed the win to "energy and focus on the part of everyone."
