Victory Pushes Legends Record to 14-10
|
Henry Carruthers drove in 3 runs to help Saskatoon defeat Trois-Rivieres, 9-3. The left fielder had 1 double and 1 home run for the Legends. The second-place Legends improved to 14-10.
Carruthers had a game-changing home run in the top of the seventh. On a 1-2 fastball from Tim Turley, he banged a 2-run home run to left, giving the Legends a 4-3 lead. It was the 3rd home run of the year for Carruthers.
"I felt good up there," said Carruthers. "I saw the ball well."
