Legends Score Late to Upend Stars, 9-5
Saskatoon played host to Niagara at the friendly confines of Ballpark of Red Deer College.

The Saskatoon Legends topped the Niagara Stars by the score of 9-5, with the biggest share of the credit going to shortstop Eddie Steele. Steele went 2-3 with a home run and was hit by a pitch. He scored 3 runs and drove in 3 for the Legends on the day. The Legends have an impressive 13-8 record.

The Legends got a big at-bat from first baseman Mike McCluskie. For the game, McCluskie was 1-4. In the bottom of the eighth, with a runner on 3rd, he stroked a run-scoring single. His 27th hit of the season gave Saskatoon a 6-5 lead.

"We put it together today and came out with the win," McCluskie said in postgame remarks. "That's the main thing."
