Jacks Get Road Win, 9-3
|
Though the conditions were not ideal, the Jacksonville Jacks and Seattle Sasquatch came back from a rain delay to finish their game.
A 4-RBI performance from Harold Planter, who is tied for 5th in the RCL in home runs with 17, helped the Jacksonville Jacks beat the Seattle Sasquatch, 9-3. Kulapati Pandian, credited with the win, is now 5-4. He allowed no runs on 3 hits in 4 innings.
Planter had a game-changing home run in the top of the seventh. On a 1-2 fastball from Hulusi Mumcu, he banged a 3-run home run to right, giving the Jacks a 5-3 lead. It was the 17th home run of the year for Planter.
"Win or lose, we pick each other up in this clubhouse," Planter told the Jacksonville Chronicle.
The Jacks, now 32-41, have won 5 in a row.
