Kelowna and Victoria got after it at Ballpark of Chilliwack College.
The Kelowna Heat topped the Victoria Capitals, 10-2, with first baseman Jason Leahy playing a big role. Leahy was 2 for 3 with a home run and 2 walks. He drove in 4 runs and scored once for the Heat in the win. The Heat move to 6-7 with the win, while the Capitals drop to 6-7.
Loïc Faure hit a bases-clearing double off Dennis Parry in the top of the third, which put the Heat in front, 3-0. In addition to the double, Faure had 2 singles, while going 3 for 5.
"We took it on the chin today," said losing manager Tom Morton.
