Leahy, Heat Humble Legends
The Kelowna Heat topped the Saskatoon Legends, 16-2, in CANADIAN BASEBALL LEAGUE action at Ballpark of Red Deer College. The player of the game was Kelowna first baseman Jason Leahy. Kelowna reliever Ernie Klein picked up the win, upping his record to 2-0. Jan Woodbury shouldered the loss. Kelowna is now 5-6.

Stan Dodds aided the Kelowna cause with a 2-run double in the top of the first. For the game, the left fielder went 3 for 5 with 2 doubles and a walk. He scored 2 times and drove in 4.

"Enjoyed this one," Dodds told the Kelowna Citizen. "But it's back to work tomorrow."
