Templeman, Outlaws Rough Up Royales
The Calgary Outlaws met little resistance from the Montreal Royales, beating them 17-3 at Corvettes Ballpark. Floyd Templeman led the way. He went 2-3 with 2 home runs, a walk, and was hit by a pitch. He scored 3 times and drove in 2 for Calgary. Calgary is off to a hot start at 7-3.

The Outlaws got a big at-bat from left fielder Keith Harkness. For the game, Harkness went 1 for 3 with a home run. He drove in 4 runs and scored once. In the bottom of the fourth, with the bases loaded, he stroked a grand slam home run. His 3rd home run of the season gave Calgary a 6-2 lead.

"The vibe's good," said Calgary manager Kiminobu Kamida. "We've got to keep it going."
