McCluskie Excels, But Royales Win
|
Mike McCluskie had a good game, but he could not keep the Saskatoon Legends from falling, 9-7, to the Montreal Royales at Eliminators Ballpark. The Saskatoon first baseman went 4 for 4 with 2 home runs, 2 singles, and a walk, while adding 3 RBI and scoring twice in the loss. Losses have been few and far between for the Legends so far this season. Their record drops to 6-3.
Christopher Harrington chipped in for Montreal with a 2-run home run in the bottom of the fourth. For the game, the first baseman had 2 hits in 4 at-bats with 1 home run, 1 single, 1 run scored, and 3 RBI.
"Feels good to get the job done," Harrington said after the game.
