Outlaws Come Back Late to Top Capitals
The Calgary Outlaws topped the Victoria Capitals, 7-6, with shortstop John MacLeod playing a big role. MacLeod was 3 for 4 with a home run, 2 singles, and a walk, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once for the Outlaws in the win. Carl Kurucz picked up the save, his 1st. With the loss, Victoria sinks to 1-3.

MacLeod had a game-changing home run in the top of the seventh. On a full count fastball from Ron Cartier, he banged a 2-run home run to right, giving the Outlaws a 6-5 lead. It was the 1st home run of the year for MacLeod.

"Winning the game is always the first objective," MacLeod said.
