Saints Lose, 8-2, at Ballpark of Red Deer College

Benefiting from Travis Walsh's productive game, the Saskatoon Legends downed the Trois-Rivieres Saints, 8-2. Walsh went 1-2 with a home run and 2 walks. He scored 2 runs for the Legends. Ralph Sulis got the win, improving to 1-0. He worked 5.1 innings, giving up 2 runs on 4 hits, while striking out 1 and walking 1. Scott Bush picked up the save, his 1st.
The Legends got a big at-bat from first baseman Mike McCluskie. For the game, McCluskie was 1-4 with a home run. He drove in 2 runs and scored once. In the bottom of the fourth, with a runner on 1st, he stroked a 2-run home run. His 3rd home run of the season gave Saskatoon a 3-2 lead.
"I thought we played a nice game," Walsh told the Saskatoon Herald. "Good pitching, timely hitting, it was all there."
The Legends, now 3-1, have been playing some good baseball.
