Multi-HR Game for Carruthers in 6-5 Win
The Saskatoon Legends downed the Montreal Royales, 6-5, at Ballpark of Red Deer College. Henry Carruthers led the way, going 2-for-4 for Saskatoon. Saskatoon, now 2-0, has played well in the early going.

Carruthers had a game-changing home run in the bottom of the sixth. On a 1-1 cutter from Lucas Bunney, he banged a 3-run home run to left, giving the Legends a 5-2 lead. It was the 2nd home run of the year for Carruthers.

"Baseball is about momentum," said Carruthers, "and we feel we've got it in our favor after that win."
