Hampton Excels, Ohio State Blows Out Missouri
The Ohio State Buckeyes handed the Missouri Tigers a sound defeat, 21-1, at Ballpark of Bloomfield College. Ryan Hampton was a main contributor to the win. He went 4-5 with a home run, a double, 2 singles, and a walk, while scoring 5 runs and driving in 4 for Ohio State. Adam Extine, credited with the win, is now 4-2. He allowed no runs on 4 hits in 6 innings. The Buckeyes bumped their record to 27-19 with this latest triumph.

Hampton had a big at-bat with runners on 1st and 2nd in the bottom of the third inning, when he hit a 3-run home run. The Buckeyes went on to win.

"We were firing on all cylinders today," said Buckeyes manager Yoshii Kamuta.
