LSU second baseman Mark McNamee played a vital role in his team's 8-4 triumph over Rice. He was 4 for 5 with a home run and 3 singles, while scoring 2 times and driving in 4 for LSU. The Tigers bumped their record to 25-20 with this latest triumph.
