The Havana Stogies picked up a win at The Humidor, knocking off the Portland Beavers, 5-2. On the mound for Havana was left-hander Joe Hardy, who played a pivotal role in the win. Havana has an impressive 54-22 record.

Hardy gave Havana a solid start. The left-hander allowed 2 runs on 5 hits over 8.1 innings.

"If we play like this, we can win a lot of games," Hardy told the Havana Times.
