Benefiting from an exceptional performance from Brent Driggs, the Arizona State Sun Devils defeated the South Mississippi Golden Eagles, 12-8. Driggs hit 2 home runs, while scoring 3 runs and driving in 4 for the Sun Devils. Arizona State is now riding a 3-game win streak.

Driggs had a big at-bat with a runner on 2nd in the top of the third inning, when he hit a 2-run home run. The Sun Devils went on to win.
