Benefiting from an exceptional performance from Jamie Ballentine, the Iowa State Cyclones defeated the Florida Gators, 7-4. Ballentine was 3 for 4 with a home run, a double, and a walk. He scored 2 runs and drove in 3 for the Cyclones. Iowa State reliever Tyler Baxter picked up the win, upping his record to 3-0. Ben Callahan shouldered the loss. Ryan Popek picked up the save, his 2nd.
