Tar Heels Lose, 9-2, at Brutes Ballpark
Benefiting from an exceptional performance from Jason Wilson, the Kansas Jayhawks defeated the North Carolina Tar Heels, 9-2. Wilson went 2 for 3 with a home run and a walk, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once for the Jayhawks. Dennis Chambley got the win, improving to 4-1. He worked 5 innings, giving up 1 run on 5 hits, while striking out 4 and walking 1. Kansas has now won 3 in a row.
